Michael Uglow is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in Foot & Ankle surgery and Children's Orthopaedics.

Mr Michael Uglow trained at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London. After completing his house jobs in Midhurst and Epsom he moved to Southampton where he completed his basic and higher surgical training as part of the Wessex regional rotation. He finished his training with a one year specialist fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic surgery at the New Children’s Hospital, Sydney, Australia. Mr Uglow was appointed as a consultant to The Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust after initially working as a consultant at The Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.

Mr Uglow is currently the Lead Consultant for the Paediatric Orthopaedic department at Southampton. He has established the Foot & Ankle service together with the physiotherapy department at the Spire Southampton Hospital which provides on-site podiatry and specialist foot & ankle physiotherapy to augment the orthopaedic surgery provided.
